The FIA World Championship Council has unanimously confirmed the 2025 WRC calendar. The Rally Islas Canarias will be the 4th round and will be held the week of April 24-27, marking a historic milestone as it is the first participation of the Rally Islas Canarias in the World Rally Championship (WRC).
24th December 2024
According to Pepo Batista, general manager of the Rally Islas Canarias, the shakedown and the Ceremony of the Start will take place on Thursday 24/03/2025. There will be two spectacular stages: one on Saturday night and another on Sunday; one in the city - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - and another in the south of the island. Stages that have not been run for years are being recovered.
Regarding the public, he said that “they have to be aware that the stages will be closed at ten o'clock the night before for the public, except for the residents. Buses will be put in place from different areas of the island where the rally will take place to distribute the fans along the stages and thus make it easier for them to access the stages. The service for the public will be provided by a private company, but it will not be free, seeking the maximum facilities for the public.”
We would like to remind our visitors that our roads are public and everything is open and there will be no charge. We will issue VIP tickets so that they can access food and drinks, something different, in some areas that we have already closed.
The timed stages of Rallye Islas Canarias 2025 are not yet available to the public. We will soon share all the details about the routes and timetables.
Stay tuned for updates on this exciting event!
